Who We Are

Matthew A. Goetzke, CFA

Matt is a co-founder and Principal of Mendota Financial Group, LLC. His primary responsibilities are portfolio management, relationship management and business accounting. In addition, he serves as the Chief Compliance Officer.

Prior to forming MFG, Matt managed portfolios for high net worth individuals and institutions for Chicago based Vestor Capital. Additional responsibilities included speaking nationally for the National Center for Employee Ownership on investing proceeds from ESOP transactions and advising retirement plan trustees on their obligations as fiduciaries.

Matt received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, member of the CFA Institute and serves on the Board of the CFA Society of Madison. He is also an active member of Downtown Rotary and Downtown Madison, Inc. Matt enjoys outdoor activities and resides in Madison with wife Susan, daughter Amelia and son William.
